Is there an age limit for ice karting?

No, there is no age limit but we do have a height limit. The driver has to be at least 150 cm tall. This is set for safety reasons to ensure that legs can reach the gas and brake pedals.

Can children participate in ice karting?

Powerful cars are not suitable for children. Strength is required to handle the powerful engine and the height limit is 150 cm. Driving instructions, as well as how to use the pedals, need to be fully understood.

Are tandem karting cars available?

No, for safety reasons, we do not offer tandem karting on ice. Ice karting requires special skills, and each driver is responsible for their own driving.

Is there something to do for those who do not want to drive?

Watching ice karting can be very exciting and entertaining. You can either watch ringside or from the heated log cabin. The results of each driver are visible in the cabin. There is also a hut where you can spend some time.

Is previous ice karting experience necessary?

No, previous experience is not required. Most participants drive on ice for the first time.

Should a booking be made in advance?

Yes, we recommend to book in advance to secure a preferred date and time.

How do we get to the track?

The track is located 1.5 km from the center of Saariselkä. You can arrive on foot, by taxi, or by rental car. Some resellers offer packages that include transportation.
